Our research combines hands-on optical physics with a structurally informed, cross-disciplinary perspective. We seek general principles behind optical and quantum systems—how they behave, how they encode and transform information, and how their underlying structure enables new capabilities. Moving between theory, computation, and experiment, we aim both to create and to understand.

“The aim of science is not things themselves, but the relations between things.”
—Henri Poincaré
